Phototherapy

Phototherapy is an important modality in treating a number of skin diseases, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and vitiligo. Our practice has successfully treated hundreds of patients over the past twenty-five years and we were the first private practice facility to offer photochemotherapy (PUVA) in New England. Our phototherapy department offers different ultraviolet light sources which include UVA and narrowband UVB and UVA hand and foot units. Our phototherapists are well-trained and attend ongoing medical education programs. They help provide the competent and compassionate care that patients with phototherapy-responsive skin diseases require. For your convenience we are open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM for phototherapy treatments.
