Dermatologists are experts in diseases of the hair, skin and nails. Since we are trained in the treatment of disorders of all age groups, we are able to care for infants, children, adults and the elderly. We are skilled in taking care of the most common as well as more chronic and complicated skin disorders. Our care is of the highest personal and professional standards. We participate in local, national and international continuing medical education programs to help maintain these standards. Because of our hospital and Harvard Medical School affiliations, our patients have access to consultation with our academic colleagues, when needed.

We are skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma. Surgical treatment of many of these skin cancers is performed in our own outpatient office setting. More complex problems may be referred to specialists in Mohs’ surgery or plastic surgery. Advanced melanoma treatment can be arranged in collaboration with Emerson Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital through their oncology services.
